Better Comfort And Care With New Dental Technology
Helping you keep your smile for a lifetime is our goal at Fall Creek Dentistry, and we welcome any new technology that can aid us in achieving that goal. We serve our patients in the Indianapolis, Fishers, Carmel, and Geist areas with the latest in laser dentistry and digital technology to ensure that we are providing the best in cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dental care.
New Technologies Offer Superior Results
Recent advancements in modern dentistry have greatly increased the accuracy of diagnosis, the speed of dental procedures, the comfort level of patients, and the improvement of recovery time. Helping our patients to understand what is involved in their treatment is an important part of providing quality dental care, and many of these new technologies offer superior results, including:
Laser technology is bringing dramatic improvements to dental care. Used in soft-tissue surgical procedures, periodontal and endodontic applications, and for whitening treatments; lasers eliminate bleeding, reduce healing time, and allow patients to retain more of their healthy tooth structure, resulting in optimal oral health.
Intra-oral Digital Camera
The advanced digital imaging provided by this small, pen-sized intra-oral camera allows easy viewing of a patient’s dental condition, with fast image downloading to a laptop or PC. This results in a more accurate detection of tiny fractures, oral diseases, and areas of decay; and enables both the dentist and the patient to quickly view before and after images.
CEREC Dental Restorations
Restoring a damaged tooth in a single office visit is now possible with CEREC ceramic restorations. State-of-the-art CAD software creates a 3-D optical impression that is used to design and mill a precise dental restoration. This is then bonded to the tooth surface the same day, resulting in a stronger, more beautiful smile.
DIAGNOdent Dental Laser
Diagnodent dental lasers prevent dental problems by identifying and removing cavities earlier. This new laser technology more accurately detects even the smallest cavities by comparing reflection wavelengths between healthy and decayed areas. Diagnodent is a quick, comfortable, and superior method of cavity detection that eliminates the need for unnecessary x-rays.
